Hancock did $185 million in a matter of days, yet I know several people who didn't think it was worth the money to go see it when it was over (I haven't seen it, so I have no opinion). Marketing and buzz is seperate than content. I expected it to be funny based on everything I heard/read, but was sorely disappointed.
If everyone in this country loved the same things, we'd all be sheep.
I accept that some people liked Borat and that's cool, but it just wasn't for me (and I'm not alone, some people just don't like to cause waves by going against the masses). Anyway, I'd watch dang near any movie over watching that thing again, but to each their own.
