Per the ESPN ticker, Jason Bartlett was placed on the DL. What does this mean for Longoria going to SS? He already has one start there and was named the emergency back up, I believe. Will the Rays call someone up to fill the void or put Longoria there a bit with Aybar at 3rd? Or will Aybar play SS?

Sounds like he won't see any time at SS, per Rays.com

They called up Zobrist and Brignac to play SS while Jason is on the DL
