Just for all of you Jones faithful...

Jones is off the DL, and starting July 4th.

Jul 3 Jones (knee) will be activated in time for Friday night's game in San Francisco, the Dodgers' official site reports.

Recommendation: Jones, who had right knee surgery May 27, had been targeting a return of July 18, but it seems as though Juan Pierre's recent injury has accelerated the process. Jones is slated to start in center field Friday.

I think Kemp has been studying Andruw a little to much.

I picked him up and have been starting him here and there. I think he'll provide some pop in the 2nd half. I am assuming he was hurting last year as well. If his knee was bothering him then too, he was probably hurting is back by compensating. I'm hoping now that he is supposedly 100% healthy, he'll be a decent option.

You can keep hoping, but it ain't gonna happen. I'm one of many Braves fans who wish we had cut biat on Andruw a few years ago, when he still had a shread of value.
