I am trying to land Rick Porcello in my 20 team dynasty. I have been told by the Porcello owner that he is interested in Ethier and to a lesser extent Teahen. Could you help me work out a deal to land Porcello?
Offer A) I send Ethier + Garland + (Feierabend or C James) for his Kuroda + Porcello
Offer B) I send Teahen + Feierabend for his Porcello
I am trying to work on an offer to propose to the owner. I could swap Wellemeyer for Garland in the first deal, but I would rather keep Wellemeyer for now, even though he has been beat up lately. Below is the other manager's roster:

If I had Porcello it would take a lot more than Ethier/Teahan and change to land him. Did he actually list them when you asked about Porcello? Because honestly you have other pieces I'd be after, none of which would be Ethier and Teahan would only be a side part of the deal, not the main piece. I see he needs a LF, but it's really giving close to zero value in return for Porcello

I believe you might have misunderstood; I would be the one receiving Porcello. The other owner has recently stated that it might take a lot to pry Porcello from him, as he just completed a trade for him sending his Dunn, Buehrle, and 2nd round (out of 3) pick for Ankiel, Garko, R Liz, Porcello, and 3rd round pick earlier today.
If in fact, you did understand correctly, what are these other pieces you believe I should be after? I am interested to hear how you would break down my team needs, which I believe would be SP, 3B, CF, and possibly C.
But please, any suggestions you feel like offering would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think I misunderstood, I understand you want Porcello. But what your potentially offering him isn't much for basically the top minor league arm (depending on what happens to Price). If he says it might take a lot, Ethier/Teahan isn't going to cut it. Also I never said pieces you should be after, I was implying if I had Porcello you have other pieces I would want before those two mentioned.
If you came to me asking about Porcello I wouldn't even think about Ethier or Teahan, and I'd be borderline insulted and wouldn't counter if that was your first offer. I understand that's who he said he liked though. If you asked me, the conversation would eventually, nay immediately, steer to LaPorta. He needs a LF and you obviously have a couple to offer him. Maybe a LF and Slowey...some upside for him.
