Any news on his status? I thought MLB was supposed to make a decision on him by July 1.
I picked him up in my keeper league minor league roster but won't hold onto him if he isn't allowed to sign right away.
The question is whether he will be allowed to sign with a club now or has to wait until next June to be drafted in the Amateur draft..
