Just left the game. Either he's injured or Leyland's just had enough of his lackadaisical play. He was seen sort of yelling at Miggy in the dugout before Miggy limped out.

Miguel Cabrera was seen limping in the dugout with training staff. With Magglio Ordonez on the dl today, this isn't a good sign. Clete Thomas will pinch-hit and get a double on Perkins. Runners on 1st and 2nd for Detroit with only one out. Big hit by Thomas. No word on what's up with Cabrera yet.

Baseball Tonight showed clip of Leyland pointing at Cabrera and not looking happy. They didn't say anything about it though.

Yahoo sports seems to think he'll be out at least today: "Jul 1 1B Miguel Cabrera left the game in the third inning Monday night with a left hip flexor strain. Cabrera may have strained the muscle trying to get a throw that clanked off the heel of his glove in the second for an error. He was listed as day-to-day but manager Jim Leyland is typically cautious with leg injuries and may not try to get Cabrera back until Wednesday afternoon." I think its safe to sit him for today. And hell, Longoria is producing just as well as Cabrera. I have Cantu in at 3B for him, and HE'S producing just as well as Cabrera. In fact, both are producing MORE than Cabrera.
