Strange how the line between truth and fiction tends to blur.
Incidentally, Hoyt hit Fisk in the second, knocking him out of the game and taking away the Sox' '75 magic. I don't even want to think about the brawl that would have caused...

The Post Gazette issued an article in which they used this site to do a Stanley Cup final between this years Pittsburgh Penguins and the sorry '86 (I think) Penguins that only amassed 38 total points. The yesteryear Penguins won in a 7 game thriller.

Glad to find this thread. Im a Whatif addict, kinda like year round fantasy baseball. The simmatchup thing is cool, but playing a real season is really the way to go. And you can play for free, in a 10 game spring training session. You can build a team using 60-80-100 or 120 million dollar caps and field them. For a full season of 162 games (3 a day) it cost 9.95 and is well worth it.
Warning though, it is very addictive. Let me know if anyone wants to jump in a league sometime.
