you can choose any team imaginable and face em up head to head against any other team. Kinda neat to see who would win. I only did one, the '71 Orioles (4 20 game winners) vs. the 1998 Yanks, i think ti was '98, whatever year they won 114 games. My O's prevailed 5-4.

pretty cool site. I did last years Cubs Vs. Last years White Sox. Prior Vs. Loaiza. The cubs won 9-0 :-t

I agree, pretty cool site, aside from the 87' Twins losing to the 87' Cardinals in the 87' World Series. :-t

Oh well, at least they won it in realy life! ;-D

That is pretty cool. Not baseball, I know, but I had the '97 Broncos stomping the '85 Bears 17-3.

The '92 Jays defeated the '93 Jays 8-2

Guzman v/s Hentgen. That brings back some memories.......and Jeff Kent as the DH for '92, and Carlos Delgado as the DH in '93. Weird that we had those guys back then but they were bench warmers. Now they're one of the top hitters at their respective positions.

I tried to make the most lopsided matchup ('27 Yanks v/s 2003 Tigers) and the Tigers won 4-3!!!!!!!!!!

Maroth almost threw a complete game, and Ramon Santiago scored the game winning run!!! I could play with this thing all day :-D

Did the '03 Cubs vs the '21 Yanks

Pitched Prior and Lost 28-9
Pitched Wood and Won 1-0

I've done it a few times and Wood always wins and Prior always loses.

Nobody's done Red Sox vs. Yanks yet?

'75 Sox heading to the Bronx to face the #27 Yankees, Cleveland and Hoyt pitching. And wouldn't you know it, the Sox leave an obviously tiring Cleveland on the mound in the bottom of the ninth with a 3-2 lead, Lazzeri on first, Ruth at the plate, and one out. And this one is outta here...

Strange how the line between truth and fiction tends to blur. :-)

Incidentally, Hoyt hit Fisk in the second, knocking him out of the game and taking away the Sox' '75 magic. I don't even want to think about the brawl that would have caused... :-o
