I have speed and starting pitching issues. Also, what should I do about Eric Milton? Drop or go to the FA wire. The following are guys on FA.
Tony Armas, Jr
Brandon Duckworth
Omar Daal
Jimmy Haynes
Kyle Lohse
John Lackey
Ted Lilly
Who should I sell up the river and trade to get a couple good SPs?
My roster look like:
SP Garcia, Freddy
SP Wakefield, Tim
SP Appier, Kevin
SP Milton, Eric
SP Ortiz, Ramon
SP Graves, Danny
RP Mesa, Jose
RP Dotel, Octavio
RP Hoffman, Trevor
RP Nunez, Vladimir
C Santiago, Benito
1B Konerko, Paul
2B Spivey, Junior
3B Batista, Tony
SS Tejada, Miguel
OF Ramirez, Manny
OF Gonzalez, Luis
OF Sheffield, Gary
Util Williams, Bernie
Bench Sanders, Reggie
Bench Fullmer, Brad
Wait until the season starts then put Milton on IR and grab either Lohse or Duckworth. You also have issues with the SAVES category as you only have one closer, Mesa, at the start of the season. Spivey should give you 20 steals but you'll need to trade your bench for speed or add some from waivers. I'm not sure what you can do, those rosters are pretty small bench-wise.

My pitching staff is actually setup as such:
SP Garcia, Freddy
SP Wakefield, Tim
RP Mesa, Jose
RP Dotel, Octavio
P Appier, Kevin
P Ortiz, Ramon
P Graves, Danny
Bench Milton, Eric
Bench Hoffman, Trevor
Bench Nunez, Vladimir
I was thinking about dropping both Hoffman and Nunez to pick up JC Romero and another solid SP since my outlook for saves is nil. BTW, I'm in a 5x5 roto league. Armas, Haynes, Lilly or Lachey (in that order) are the guys I'm looking to target that are on the FA wire.
Nunez won't get many saves, and neither will Romero. Look for Alan Embree (Boston) or Bandon Villafuerte (San Diego). I'd keep Hoffman and Milton for now if you can. There isn't much room to manuever with injured players.
I'd look for Oliver Perez over any of the guys you list for SP's. If he stays healthy, he could be a 15 W 3.25 ERA 200 K guy with an acceptable WHIP around 1.25.
