anyone read up on him?
Espn was saying this:
Jason Bay, Pittsburgh Pirates
Jason Bay
Draft Before:
Bernie Williams
Darin Erstad
2003 Stats
G AVG HR RBI R SB
30 .287 4 14 15 3
It's not easy to get attention in Pittsburgh, a place where the most recognizable name is attached to the statue of Roberto Clemente outside the beautiful new stadium. But don't look at Jason Bay as just another of the nameless faces so abundant in Pittsburgh's recent lineups. The British Columbia native -- think Larry Walker -- came over in the Brian Giles trade and proceeded to hit .287 with four home runs and three steals in 30 games, all while posting a .421 OBP. Bay tore up the Pacific Coast League last season, hitting .303 with 20 home runs and 23 steals in 91 games for Triple-A Portland. He'll get a chance to pile up at-bats for the Pirates and has shown the plate discipline to be an instant fantasy success.

.300 average and 20 hr and 20 steals interested me for sure.

i like him alot this year. i took fim off the FA list after my draft and i hope he will be a decent option off the bench. if he hits in the middle of the pitt lineup, he could put up some decent numbers
welcome home andy
