Juan Pierre is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with his sprained MCL, the Dodgers said Monday.
There must be a significant tear if he's going to miss that much time. That means both Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier will spend all of July as regulars. Delwyn Young will start until Andruw Jones is activated.

On second thought, i'm going to ride this out... knowing Pierre he'll be working on it aggressively... and he'll be able to start exercises in only 6 days... hopefully this is a case where the player can will himself through it quickly ala Pujols... he came back in the minimum time and there were whispers he'd be out for a looong time... and yes this is just wishful thinking so I don't jump off a roof as this is my 5th Disabled Player with only 2 spots to stash...
