Ok... i'll answer my own post in case anyone else has Pierre on their team :-]

Basically he stole second and as the Angel's ss Aybar went to recover the ball, he fell on Pierre's knee... Pierre was on the ground for awhile, got up on his own power, but had to leave, walking with a noticeable limp... he'll get an mri tommorow... but is day to day for the time being... he's quite a gamer so i'm a tad concerned... we'll find out tommorow I guess... I REALLY need his speed, eventhough he helps me in NOTHING else... lol

he allegedly told Torre he wanted to stay in the game, then jogged around in front of the trainer but he was noticeably limping... in any event, tommorow's mri will tell us what's up... i'll make a post here when the news comes out... I can't handle anymore injuries... I've got Ortiz, Furcal, Wainwright and Putz all on the DL, I can't take anymore of this ##$R%#@@%^!!!!!

not sure if this qualifies as news... it's ominous, but completely uninformative... thought i'd post it anyways:

HOUSTON -- Outfielder Jason Repko was expected to be activated for Monday night's game against the Astros, although the player he will replace on the Dodgers roster was still to be determined.
Repko, who took early batting practice with the Dodgers at Minute Maid Park, most likely would take the spot of outfielder Juan Pierre, who injured his left knee Sunday. The club was awaiting results of an MRI and Pierre is expected to be placed on the disabled list. If Pierre's injury is not serious, the club figured to make room for Repko by moving another player because it would be short outfielders.

The 30-year-old Pierre has never been on the disabled list in an eight-year career, but he was in pain when he left Sunday's game. Pierre made a headfirst dive while stealing second base when Angels infielder Erick Aybar fell and landed on the bottom of Pierre's left leg, twisting the knee.

The Dodgers have nine other players on the disabled list -- Tony Abreu, Nomar Garciaparra, Jason Schmidt, Rafael Furcal, Gary Bennett, Andruw Jones, Hiroki Kuroda, Brad Penny and Scott Proctor. Garciaparra, Schmidt, Furcal and Jones are currently on Minor League injury rehabilitation assignments. Kuroda and Penny are expected to return to the starting rotation this week.

Repko, rebounding from two seasons of injuries, is hitting .277 with six home runs, 57 runs, 29 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. The 27-year-old spent most of the season batting below .230, but has a current six-game hitting streak during which he's batting .455. Earlier this month he had a 14-game hitting streak, bringing his June average to .375.

Yahoo just placed Juan Pierre on the DL... and there's been no announcement... but I guess they're sure of it... this destroys my teams speed for the forseeable future... AHHHH

Man, I traded Reyes last week just based on the fact that I would have Pierre for his speed. This hurts :-o . Anyone have any waiver wire flyers for speed in a 10 man league?

Pierre is out with a sprained MCL in his left knee. Out 4-6 weeks.

Repko recalled and will play CF tonight with Kemp out with eye irritation.

4-6 weeks? where did you get that estimate? I haven't seen an estimate yet, that would suck though...
