that idea sounds good
I think I will still keep complete games though. I consider it more hard work for a pitcher to get one. Where as a triple play what I consider luck.
I do want starters to have a little more value than the rps too.

I don't think it is that nobody likes K/BB. It's just that you are aleady counting BB twice, once as BB and once as WHIP. Adding k/bb would mean you are counting BB three times, which seems too much.

I was 100% sure about WHIP though.
So either use either ERA, WHIP, K, K/B, HR or ERA, WHIP, K, BB, K/9
JB
Yeah, in addition, to the W, HLD, SV. I would favor the first, since you get BB and K counted twice and count HRs, too. I wouldn't use the other ones you mentioned (L, IP, CGs, etc), and would set a max and min innings pitched.
jebatzel wrote:What is a good number for minuim innings pitched?
I was going to setup max moves for 40. that should limit players from picking up to many spot starters for wins and such.
hmm maybe I should lower that too.
most people in my league have the feeling what ever stats I go with they will found. so pretty much they will go with what I think is best.
doing the draft March 10
want to get stats squared away as soon as I can though.
JB
I favor making people stay away from goofy reliever only strategies and would like the IP minimum something like 1200. I think that will work, but we've never had a min in my league. We just have a lot of guys that we trust to do the right thing.
