I got to the fourth round but I was getting frustrated with the gameplay. I like the RPG element though. The character screen and the story presentation reminded me a bit of Diablo.

You have to replay levels a bunch to make enough money, but I don't mind because some levels are really pretty fun (I like the beach ones).
The thing that I find so addicting is the arrow-shooting. Once you get very accurate you can pull off some pretty crazy shots (my favorite is getting a headshot while just barely shooting around one of your allied guys).
The only problem with Vector TD is that it is a little easy once you get used to it. I've beat most of the maps (the no left turn one is a real pain). DTD is much more fun IMO.

Think Vector is a bit deeper, but it could use some fine tuning.

Once you get to where you can afford the Green Laser 3 it is game over. It can handle about 10 levels all by itself so you can sit back and collect interest. Put all the bonuses into interest (up to about around 18%) and then load up on Red Rockets. The biggest thing to the game is to remember only spend the bare minimum that it takes to kill everything.
