Anyone believe Brett Myers can turn things around?

If that's the case, doesn't that mean the door for Carlos Carrasco is likely to open sooner rather than later? Hope so.... The specutlation I read last night is that Durbin fills the hole, but I'm hoping they give Carrasco a shot.

Carrasco's an awesome pitching prospect, but he's not yet major league ready. He's walking 3.5 per 9 innings in AA. I think the Phils are better off waiting until 2009 to let him pitch in the majors...

carrasco will not be called up. to be completely honest, i think myers will stay in the rotation until benson is really to be called up. big chuck has said already that he doesnt want to move durbin who has been awesome (and because it would take too long to stretch him out) and we dont have any other options right now. the phils will more than likely trade for a 4th or 5th type starter at the deadline like they did with lohse last season.
