Was going to mention this. A guy who dodged a bullet back out for 2 innings? Larussa's off season job must be a salesman for the Scooter store or something 'cause the way he has Izzy going that's what he'll need in due time.

I'm not sure Izzy gets the closer job back unless Franklin totally tanks and that coincides with a healthy Izzy. I don't see it happening.

And it's the last year of his contract. My bet would be that Izzy retires after the season.

Izzy's contract is up after this year and it is highly unlikely he gets resigned when Perez is expected to close next year.
