Has anyone ever been part of a league where you were able to completely exploit its rules and use them for your advantage? Currently i'm in a 10 team H2H league with absolutely absurd stat categories. The stats are this
offense-
runs
hits
HR's
RBI's
SB's
total bases
batting average
on base %
slugging %
pitching-
Iinnings pitched
wins
saves
strikeouts
ERA
WHIP
WIN%
as you can see this league is extremely offensive dominant. On draft day I drafted predominately offense. In fact, I didn't draft a pitcher until the 8th round (which was Chris Young). Because my offense has been so good, i'm winning every single offensive category every week, which in turn is giving me victories because there's more offensive categories than pitching categories.
now here are some notable rules in the league...
no Waivers
no max IP
max transactions per week is 5
Because of these shoddy rules i'm streaming pitchers and loading up on closers to net me the innings pitched, wins and saves categories. I'm doing this because of a lack of a IP cap and no transaction max. There's also no Waivers, which makes adding/dropping players easier. Is this the most exploitable league you guys have ever seen? What are your experiences with exploiting a leagues rules to win the league?
