Jun 26 Brewers.MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports Milwaukee Brewers OF Ryan Braun (hand) has been getting treatment for soreness on his right hand between his thumb and index finger for about a week. Braun cannot trace the source of the injury, but believes he irritated a ligament on a swing during the Brewers' last homestand.

anyone know if this is serious?

he's been playing with it for at least a few games and I believe he will continue to do so.

i believe he had an injury similar to this earlier in the year and he bounced back fine...it was something like 5 homers in 3 days.

Jul 2 Mired in a 10 game slump, Braun will get the night off on Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.

Recommendation: Braun is only batting .186 in the past 10 games and is just receiving a routine day off. Expect him to return to the lineup on Thursday

I'm watching the game...they are saying it's probable that he misses tomorrow as well.

he'll be back in the lineup tomorrow...he was just given a routine day off because he's been struggling at the plate. fielder was given the night off yesterday and i wouldn't be shocked to see corey hart get the night off tomorrow.
