My team, Seattle (who will not be my team if they leave town), too Russell Westbrook with the #4 pick. I was not really thinking of him over Bayless or Augustine, but the more I think about it, the more I like him. I'm kind of glad they didn't have to choose about Mayo - for some reason he just bothers me...

Check the tabs at the top, we've got an entire Basketball Cafe for this kind of stuff. Lots of good people who know their basketball too.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls Da Bulls! Derrick Rose is a hometown guy, too. I remember reading about him in the back page of the Chicago Tribune in like 2005, in the HS sports section, thinking "Derrick Rose would be a great name for an NBA superstar". That's how basketball superstars are determined, as far as I'm concerned.

I would liked to see Be-Easy come to Chi-Town. They need a strong-athletic post and that was Be-Easy. Whats going to happen to Captain Kirk? Grab a seat kid.
That's true, but he just doesn't have the complete set of skills that Rose has, and doesn't really have the team leader mentality. Rose might pan out to become a Chris Paul-type player, and you see how far Paul got the Hornets. It really speaks to how talented he is that the Bulls passed up on a needed position to get a future superstar.

I have to wonder how Westbrook's value has vaulted from marginal 1st/2nd round pick up to a top 5 pick on draft day. I suppose it has to do with Westbrook's possibility of molding into a Ron Artest type, as an athletic, rangy defender with good frame but possesses good acceleration off the dribble. He still needs to develop a perimeter game which he could've used with the extra year at UCLA. I didn't really like the Kevin Love pick thereafter given that Love isn't a good jumper despite his passing skills.
The Knicks made the worst pick of the draft by far.
TWolves, we got Mayo , i wish the heat took mayo but o well
also, i dont get why we took this international dude with our second pic, only cuase they say he won't be able to play with us until 3 or so years . just doesn't make much sense to me
