It was really light colored, and mysteriously darkened the other day. Should he join Keith Hernandez doing "Just for Men" commercials?
Yankee policy is no facial hair below the lips. Ever the rebel, Giambi has a small soul patch as well as the mustache. That seems to come and go. Not sure if he is being asked to shave it or he is just testing the waters.
As a Yankee fan, I think the mustache looks horrible. And I hope to heck he doesn't shave it given the way he is hitting!!
Here is why Derek Jeter is a tremendous leader. When the Yankees lost two straight over the weekend, he told The Big G to fix his mustache and make it more presentable.
The Big G got himself some Just For Men and dyed it all dark brown. The Yankees then won, further confirming the awesome power of the ’stache.

That's from Pete Abe's blog, Jeter made him clean it up.

This needs to be used in the 'Jeter is overrated' thread as proof to the contrary.

I grew a goatee earlier this month and it turned bright ginger/copper nearly overnight. The hair on my head is brown.
Anyone else have this problem?
Yeah, I have that same problem. Brown hair, and my beard comes in white. Funny, i didn't have that problem 20 years ago.
There are a few things with the New York Yankees that never change. That's pride, tradition, and most of all, we have the greatest fans in the world. -Derek Jeter, 9/21/08 -- last words from old Yankee Stadium
