Another home run! Would you start Davis over Alex Gordon, Carlos Gomez, and Figgins?

i would at this point. the kid is really impressive, this is the first ive actually gotton to watch him. he hits evrything hard. cano made a great play his at bat before the homerun to rob him of a base hit. last night he singled off the wall. i know its very very early, but all signs point to him being the real thing.

My dilemma: would love to pick him up, but Cantu has been pretty hot as well. Would you start Davis over Cantu?

I'm not too worried about short term issues with CD. It's very clear that he is one of the most talented hitters already in a dangerous lineup. He'll just need to continue proving himself and get his ABs.

i just hope we see more games like we did last night with davis. davis was 3-6 but started out 3-4. it was his first multi-hit game since being called up. he had a very good avg. of .333 in the minors but has only really hit the ball for power in the bigs. everyone compares him to ryan howard but i hope he doesn't turn into the k machine that he is and have 50 homers with a .250 or lower BA. if he continues to impress and improve like last night, eventually he will be put in the 5 hole where he can do some real damage in the RBI column.
