Naysayers of your opposition are 100% justified. If you are a fantasy baseball manager and fail to select any of these three in the second round: Soriano, Vlad, Beltran, then you are an idiot, period. Maybe idiot is a strong word, but as far as fantasy baseball is concerned, it is applicable
Because you have THREE of them, that means that everyone in your league passed on at least ONE of them in round 2.
You don't think that raises some red flags about their knowledge?
You should find a more competitive league, because you will coast through that one without any effort, because the other managers are... well... idiots.
