Chris Davis called up

Woot.

.333/.386/.643 between AA and AAA. 23 homeruns and 73 rbi.
thats after leading all minor leaguers under 27 in HR/RBI last year.

Massive power lefty that walks very little and strikes out a ton but hey... mashes. Hopefully he doesnt go the Dallas McPherson route.

The Rangers will trade Bradley and DH maximus within a month. Im almost glad the angels have such a good record so the rangers dont screw things up trying to compete this year, theyve got some serious talent coming in.

Braun, except even fewer walks. Its a legit concern, but hes hit 300 with massive power despite it.

Anyway, Im bumping to say that with a lefty going today and MaxRam having already been penciled in for that game, so Davis isnt playing today. Although, he did have a ops over 1.1 v lefties in his brief AAA stint.

He will debut tomorrow v the astros in the friendly confines of Arlington. Well, aside from a likely pinch hit appearence tonight.
