How do you guys get the funky text for the name? I ca nnever get that to work in GIMP.

Not sure what you mean by "funky" text?

Like what Font did you use for Sanchez's name in your sig? It's like really professional looing, and I can never get that down.

I use just a normal font, choose a color, add some lighting, ect and thats how I do my text. Nothing special, just a few different things like Snakes mentioned.

Again very simple...all I do is make another layer, make a box, color the box with a light shaded color, border it and walla.

btw soty, for some reason i can't find a "box" for the text, but i just ended up using a brush and brushed it straight across as good as i could

It is the Rectangle Select Tool. That is the "box" I was talking about.

definitely getting better

one suggestion...the morneau sig for example....i like the twins bg and the coloring but the blue behind him doesnt look good. you have to make it more consistent all the way across or at least blend it in better.

the adrian gonzalez sig is pretty solid. the "box" isnt as good as it could be, and should probably be a little lower, but all in all, you've gotten better. your cuts actually look up to par too keep practicing!

yup. its getting better.. they are really nice.. The gonzalez sig was REALLy good, that morneuo sig was terrible.
