Another thing to keep in mind when projecting your points is how far ahead the rest of the league is in IP. You said the closest is 40 innings ahead? To me that says that, unless those two ahead of you in Ks have remarkable leads, you should catch them if you use your full innnings, and you should make up a lot of points in wins at the same time.

I'm in a similar position in my league, where im winning all pitching stats but Ks and Wins, where the guy who has a marginal lead over me has 150 more innings pitched at this point. I actually like it because I know ill pass him, but I dont take that extra lead in the league which, in mine, makes trading even harder

I can't imagine why, when you have dominant pitching and questionable hitting, you would even consider starting to put the brakes on your starters.

Unless you can deal some SP for genuine impact bats, it seems you're just as well off going after the points available in W and K.
I wouldn't dump/sit pitching simply to protect those "10s" in ERA and WHIP. That gains you nothing.
