Theriot drops in the lineup??

Postby rib217 » Tue Jun 24, 2008 1:30 pm

The past two games i've noticed that Theriot has dropped from 2nd to 8th in the lineup. Anyone have any info or insights on this? He's been solid in the 2 hole and if anything i thought they would move him to leadoff when Soriano went down....what gives? why 8th now, how much of a negative impact will batting 8th in the lineup have on him, will he return to the top of the order soon?

Honestly, i think its just Sweet Lou mixing things up...as usual. He might stay in the 8 spot for a little bit, move to 7 , or move back to the 2 hole. Lou changes his mind daily. I don't think its really indicative of Theriot's bat, but more of how Lou is feeling that day/ series....

Don't think this really answers your question, but might help anyway...
