Olympic Basketball Team

They have been talking about playing as a team and team basketball.

Will this work or will they get embarrassed again?

I can't remember which morning show was saying this but Team USA will continue to be embarrassed if they don't play defense. There's a bit to be said about timing and whatnot on offense, but individual defense does not need nearly the level of work of offense to become effective on the court. Our last team played NO defense. :-t

If USA basketball wants to win they should put together a team like this:

PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
PF - Dirk Nowitzki,
SF - Andrei Kirilenko
C - Yao Ming

Bench -
PG - Steve Nash
SG - Hedo Turkoglu
PF - Mehmet Okur
SF - Boris Diaw
C - Pau Gasol

LOL! While I think they can (and better) win with the guys that they have, this would be a lot more fun to watch, that is for sure ;-D

This will be interesting if they will work as a team. Kobe, Lebron, and Wade on the same team will definetly work as a team ;-)

Derron Williams and Chris Paul as a backcourt is gonna be nice to see ;-D ;-D
