Just started running regularly, actually. I used to be terrible when I was a kid (mile of 9:30 or more) but recently I've decided to really work on my endurance/get in shape. Once I started running a couple miles a night, I was able to shave significant time off my mile run. Last time I timed myself, I ran a little over a mile in 7:06, which really surprised me.

I'm going to keep going at it as long as I can and hopefully I can get under 6:00 by the end of the summer. I've always been a decent sprinter, though it takes me a little too long to make it to top speed.
My decision to start running was partially influenced by my ex-girlfriend's new guy being an elite runner.

(4:30 mile)
Also, running in 84 degree humid weather at 1 AM feels surprisingly good.
