aww i c, thats what i thought , i thought it was something more confusing like under dialogs or filters

generally the light to dark effect can easily be accomplished by adding a gradient. you can ever make it go from yellow to blue, red to white etc... its an awesome tool for the background of your background (if that makes sense).

yeah, i'll have to learn yet how to do that. i don't like the gradients in GIMP at all, i rarely use them. ik the thing ur talking about, there is one that goes from dark to light from left to right, but i don't know how to make it change into two different colors. and i still can't find any tutorials, that for one actually start working, and then all of them i do find they just talk about cutting out stuff and more simple things like that

you really shouldnt need a tutorial for using a gradient. its very simple and straight forward. to make it a color, just change the main color on your sig. add a layer and then add a gradient and move it around wherever you want. fairly simple. give it a whirl next time you make a sig.
