I'm a seasoned veteran when it comes to fantasy football, but this will be my first season playing baseball. I'm basically looking for some advice on the best strategy to employ when it comes to drafting, position wise.

You're gonna have to give us some league specifics. Snake draft? Auction? Keeper league? etc.
Junior: "Hey Kramer, you ever killed a man?"
Kramer: "What do you think, Junior, these hands have been soaking in Ivory liquid?

If straight draft I usually try this
In first 8 rounds pick(in any order)
Corner Inf(2)
Middle Inf(2)
Outfielder(1)
Catcher(1)
Pitchers(2)-make sure at least one is closer but I usually make both closers. I pick up SPs later in draft for two reasons-SP are unpredictable as compared to offense and if you do your homework there are plenty of good SP in these rounds
"Wherever you go,there you are."
