Okay, we all know that he is a "troubled" individual, has a temper, etc. However, he has shown some great signs of turning it around. I've picked him up in a keeper and plan on keeping him.

And you know what, he is actually someone to root for. His dad is in jail for murder, he was drafted as a football stud but decided on baseball, and more. Check out this if you want to read more:

BUT, as far as fantasy is concerned, I've followed him for 4 years now, and he has always been labeled as someone with one of the most impressive baseball skills in the game. I remember Peter Gammons being asked last year who were you most impressed by in Spring Training, and you can guess who he said.

Perhaps moving to Washington, and having a mentor like Dimitri Young will help him hone in on his enormous potential.

Root for to turn it around, not applaud his past behavior. At 24 years old, he is certainly young enough to turn it around.

As far as his talent, he'll probably self destruct in a couple of weeks anyway. He makes Milton Bradley look like a Buddhist Monk.

Not the same thing at all IMO. Not even nearly the same ballpark of life turning around, unless you're one of those guys that equates drug users being as bad as violent people.

I'm not saying he can't turn things around, and people have been known to do that. I'm just saying there is no reason to root for Dukes. He's not a good guy, and that is one criteria I have for rooting for people. Of course I picked him up in two leagues, so in a sense I hope he has turned it around, but he's still a scumbag until proved otherwise.
