Really? Chris Young hasn't been that bad this year, at least not any worse than projections, if not better.
.238 avg, 13 HRs, 39 RBis, 47 Runs, and 4 steals. I was expecting about 10 or so more steals, but the other numbers are all pretty decent, on pace for about 90 RBIs, over 100 Runs, and 28 ding dongs?
I don't know what the main-line projection for him was, but one I just found quickly at fantasysportscentral had him ranked as the 20th OFer with numbers of... .251 AVG, 31 HRs, 76 RBIs, 89 Runs, and 28 SBs. The only number that he's really behind on is the stolen bases.
I definitely wouldn't call him a "cancer".
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.
Joe Blanton. Started out the season just having bad luck with wins but now he is just sucking. Ubaldo Jimenez. Was high on him and took him on all my teams. Fail.
I am doing okay everywhere else, though I have Adam LaRoche starting on a couple teams. Hoping he has another hot second half.
Roy Oswalt and M. Cain for me. I almost cut both lose last week, but they both went out and produced solid:
Oswalt: 7 IP, ER, 10K Cain: 7 IP, 3 ER, BB, 11K (I'm in a K/9 league, so this was gold)
Sad thing was last week a guy offered me a trade that involved M.Cain. I countered offered and gave up T.Hudson instead. I'm still believing that Cain and Oswalt will come around. Plus in a k/9 league, Hudson was killing me every week.
I don't really start either right now, They have both been riding my bench since week 5 or so. My pitching is deep enough w/out them that I'm constantly winning the pitching cats w/out them:

I agree, I cut Hafner and Konerko a long time ago when everyone was saying not to.
If I had Hafner on one of my teams, I would have cut him also if I needed the DL slot for someone who doesn't look completely finished. He's been a FA in one of my leagues for ages now.
Aarong Harang and A.J. Burnett are killing me. Problem with drafting guys who you think are supposed to good and then watching them suck is that it's hard to drop them and just move on.
V-Mart JJ Hardy Kuroda (started him everytime except when he pitched the complete game shut out with 11k) Beltre (his HR's are nice but his overall production has sucked) Ibanez (started nice then his average dropped to the .260's)
