I second Konerko. Everything pointed towards him having a rebound season after last year's disappointment, and he only killed my team's BA (among everything else) early.
Konerko,Hafner, and Howard. Cut or traded all 3 while there was still some value to be had.
If you sold Howard anytime before his recent hot streak, or anytime for that matter, you lost a lot of value.
Alex Rios - and I still own him after attempting to shop him for dozens of players. No one wants him, and he's been riding my bench for over a month and a half....
Has anyone else took the time to calculate how many points your cancers have cost you?
I was trying to make a play for a low WHIP starter like Roy Halladay but after doing the math, I realized that not starting Burnett has the same effect without trading anybody. I know that addition by subtraction exists in real life but I didn't realize I was better off being 55 innings from the target pace.
The player I hated the most was Zimmerman who I paid the same for as Chipper went for and $3 more than for Atkins who went one player later. Sadly, it was when the stripper showed up at the draft when Zimmerman was on the block.
Zimmerman hasn't been awful, awful, but compared to his peers, he's been dreadful. The best thing he's done for me so far this year was go onto the DL, opening up a spot to pick up Barmes and then once he got injured Branyan.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.
For me it's Delmon Young. I thought he was in for a big year and targeted him in all my leagues. I recently dropped him in two different 15 team leagues, each with 5 OF slots and no bench. Both times someone used their waiver to get him- good luck with that, fellas.

Don't let the door hit you, Delmon.
What made you target him?

Chris Young. I was okay with the idea of him hurting my ave, but I never expected to see him look so pathetic. He and my other tumor Rios have decimated my offense, while the DL has laid waste to my pitching staff. My only healthy starter was Zambrano.
And yet I am still in first place! (and telling bigger lies than ever). It is almost next year already.
