Coldplay's New CD

I AM NOT GAY.
I DON'T THINK THAT COLDPLAY IS THE GREATEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD.

With those 2 issues that I am sure would be raised out of the way. What do you guys(the minority here that actually listens to Coldplay) actually think about the album?

I think it's kind of different from their old album, certainly not the complete overhaul they were looking for but the album is different from their earlier album a bit. And I'm not sure I like it. I don't know about the rest of people, Coldplay has always been a relaxing music for me right next to Enya and Sigur Ros of the world, and the new, weird edginess just feels strange for me coming from them. Granted I didn't like Achtung baby at all, and most think it's bloody awesome. So I might be in the minority here. :-°

also, absolutely not a fan of Coldplay being lazy/trying to be artsy/cute/whatever and have that many "hidden tracks". I like Lovers in Japan, Reign of Love, not so much. Same with Yes and Chinese Sleep Chant, I should have the choice of skipping half those songs without actually cutting the song myself.
