Since his call up May 25th (less than 1 month), in his 69 at bats, he has 10 HRs and is hitting 0.306

More importantly, he is 0/9 vs. lefties this year in 9 at bats, and all of his HRs have come off of righties.

Ultimate platoon player vs. righties? Can Big Russ put down some solid power?

I'm thinking he's a "ride him while he's hot" player. As much as i love the fact that the Brewers are finnally getting some productivity from their 3B, we all know he's not a .300 hitter. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yes, this guy is absolutely mashing the ball off of righty's. I'm considering dropping Hermida to pick this fool up.

The guy looks like a different hitter than the one who played for the Brewers a couple of years ago. His swing is shorter (though not lacking in power) and his plate discipline is much much better. He's going to K a lot, and won't (shouldn't) face many LHP, but he's hitting a HR every 6 ABs right now. Ride him while he's hot - he'll get the start every day vs. RHP and he hits behind Braun, Fielder and Hart so there should be some good RBI opps for him.
