what can anyone tell me about this kid....picked him up a few weeks ago and hes been pretty solid. I've never heard of him before. Worth keeping? or just lucky so far?

He's been pretty impressive. I picked him up for a day and of course he goes 0-4. IBut if you need another OF I say he's a strong buy.

I watch the dreadful indians everyday and Ben is a nice surprise. He was called up last year for a bit and tore the cover off the ball for about a week and then fizzled out so they sent him back to the minors. Now, with the Indians in need of sticks, he is filling in nicely but not good enough to be a #3 hitter. He doesn't seem to strikeout too much and hits the ball hard. He can only get better as the year goes by and without any pressure now that they are slipping far out of first, I see him being worthy on ownership in fantasy leagues. He batted in front on ryan garko on their high school team in anaheim. Now they are reunited so that might help with his comfort levels.

Yea. I had started a thread the day they DFA Michaels and called up Benny because I really like his potential. I hoped that they'd keep him with the team after spring training, making him the everyday LF, but they stuck with Dellucci and Michaels. Francisco can hit. No doubt about that.

worthy of a keeper? or is hat a litle bit of a push?

I don't know...I wouldn't think so. There are alot of young guys I'd rather use a keeper pick on. Francisco is good, don't get me wrong. But he's like 26yrs old. For that reason alone, you can probably think of at least a handfull of guys that are 19-22 that you'd rather hold onto.

But if you need help right now, he's quietly putting up really good numbers, and should do at least that for the next few years.
