What are you guys opinions on him? Is he worth a spot on a 10 team H2H league where loses count agaisnt you? If so, is he a spot starter at best or would you start everytime he pitches?

I wouldn't start him against the Cubs next week. But he does have some really good outings this year, he only had 2 starts all year where he gave up more than 4 runs. So he is Mr. Consistent and good for a H2H league. Unfortunately, I just don't know how often he'll get W or avoid the loss. He might give up only 2 ER and still lose. Don't know your league setup but if the L is weighted more than ERA and WHIP, then don't pick him up.

They are all counted. The pitching categories are IP, W, L, SV, K, WHIP, and ERA.

Reason im asking is because Wang just went down and now Kuroda. I also have Liriano and Buchholz but they are obviously still down in the minors. I need someone who can fill in until they get called up.

If you are looking to replace Wang, then Guthrie is a good choice. He'll help in IP, WHIP and ERA. He also has potential for K. If he gets better run support, he should be getting more W. At this stage, I would say he is more valuable than Kuroda just based on consistency. If you play matchup, he should be a decent performer.

Yeah, I think its going to be hard to replace Wang. He stats werent always the greatest but I could almost always count on a win.

I have him, and his record has been extremely frustrating. But he has helped out nice with ERA and WHIP. No one else in the O's rotation has as much talent, and they all have worse stats, but better records. So my guess is that he is not going to have nearly as many losses over the next few months...still may not have a lot of wins, but I don't think he'll hurt you that bad for losses....at least not as bad as he and verlander have hurt me.
