Anyone knows whats up with Bradley. He missed yesterdays game. How long is he going to be out?

According to the Coach, there is a solid chance we'll see him today...

Manager Ron Washington originally planned to rest Bradley for Thursday's day game. He changed his mind after Bradley asked for an extra day, and hopes to have him back in the lineup Thursday.

Although Bradley suffered a quad cramp during the most recent recent road trip, Washington said he doesn't see it as a longterm concern.

He has a minor quad strain. Knowing how fragile he is, you should expect stuff like this to crop up every few weeks. He is out until the Washington series later this week at least, and if he isn't feeling better by then they will probably hold him out of that as well. Expect him to miss 1-4 more games and almost certainly be back next week.

Just where did you get this? Is it your own speculation? As posted earlier in the thread he is very likely to play today.

They'll probably play it safe and sit him through the weekend as they're playing in DC and there's no DH.

I hope he plays...he's great protection for Hamilton. Last night they intent walked Hamilton, that probably doesn't happen if Milton is behind him.

Rangers outfielder Milton Bradley was out of the starting lineup for the second straight game Thursday because of a strained left quadriceps.
Texas manager Ron Washington said the problem wasn't serious, but didn't want to take any chances of further injury on a field wet from morning rains. The Rangers played Atlanta in a series finale.

Bradley is hitting .330 with 15 home runs and 48 RBIs and is leading the AL in on-base average.

"He's not ready yet, we want to give him more time," Washington said before the game. "We don't want him to go out there and slip. The quad is better, but not good enough. The trainers felt it was best if we wait."

Washington said he was "hopeful" that Bradley would be available for a weekend series against the Washington Nationals.

Guess we really shouldn't be surprised. :-b
