I never understood the fascination in the first place. Even if he's put a good line together in the past, why spend anything substantial on a PIT pitcher?

because wins arent the only thing that matters
any chance hes on the market ? i could definitely see a few teams take a flier on him.

Same argument could be made for S.F. Giants pitchers, but they've got a couple of productive cookies goin' on there themselves. I don't blackball any pitcher (or dock them too severely, even) just because of what team they pitch for. Ollie Perez put together a Cy Young caliber season with the Pirates when they were just as awful as they are now.

Good thing I didn't trade for him in the pre-season. Wait...
In my defense, Dunn in a bad contract for Burrell and Snell in good contracts is a deal I'd do every time on 3/1.
Dunn is earning every cent of that contract, sucka.
Right. Remind me what Dunn did for you in April and early May?
Oh, that's right. You turned around and immediately traded him away.

Is he droppable in a 20 team dynasty league? I can't start him, so why is he on my team?
There are a few potential tasty morsels on waivers and Snell is the one to go if I make a move.
If you're competing for this year, and if there are better options out there, then you have to make the move that helps you now.
If you are looking at all towards next year or have room to stash him, then keep him.
Thanks for that . That's kind of what I was thinking.
I ended up dropping him for Diamond Dallas Braden, who I've always been high on and has just cracked the rotation. (And probably doesn't have mental problems ).

Ditto. Before I outright dropped him in May, he and Bills were killing my pitching stats. Of course, losing Smoltz and Gallardo for the season didn't help either. Snell's a mess...total flop this year. You're better off letting someone else take the risk unless you enjoy toturing yourself with bad spot starts...

It's going to be a 1 run game either way, I think. Snell isn't nearly as big an underdog as he probably ought to be, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Buccos win, something like 5 - 4.
