Laffey's career line is great against the Royals. I know it had nice return value but I don't like that one at all (which is easy to say now as it's 6 - 1, but I did pick Laffey as a spot starter for today).

NYY -1.5 (Even) - OAK is 2-5 in games vs a starting LHP on the season they're batting a putrid .202 vs LHP. If Ricky Romero, no knock on the kid, can shut them out then I don't see them coming to life traveling to New Yankee stadium to face the sharp Pettitte. NYY thrives against LHP (.320 BA) and Dana Eveland really isn't a challenge. Good spot for the Yanks to win big IMO.

And of course I don't get home in time today to bet the runline as bodog puts it up so late.
