News: Liriano could be called up from Triple-A in July, manager Ron Gardenhire hinted to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "We're not going to force the issue. We'll let him get enough starts down there to where (Minnesota's front office) feels comfortable," he said. "Whether it's at the all-star break or right before that, I don't know."
Spin: Liriano is 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA and 26:6 K:BB ratio over his last 25.2 innings. He'll probably get called up when a Twins starter struggles or is injured as there isn't an opening in the rotation at the moment.
