I would like to know who usually has a big second half and who usually declines in the second half that way it gives me a good look at buy lows and sell highs. Is there a way to see mlb players stats for only a section of the season. I don't want to see the entire season because you can get those statistics everywhere. I want to see like sections of the players seasons from previous years and such. I'm not sure if I explained this very well, but is there a website I can get that information?
Does anyone, cuz I see people posting about second and first half statistics.....Where do they get it from? or you see people post about a players statistics for a certain month.... Where do you get that kind of information?
espn has splits for each player. as far as i know you cant do it for more than 1 player at a time though. just off the top of my head for 2nd half guys, adam laroche, aram, teixeira, chipper (but how much better can he hit?), furcal, jenkins, helton.
You can do a date filter at espn and see league-wide player splits. Here is the 2007 splits from July 1st to the end of the season. It takes a little while for it to load the data.
that's an example of Chipper Jones and is under the "split stats" tab. You can pick a particular year, or even use the "since 1987" tab to find a players stats for their entire career. It breaks it down by several different categories: day game, night games, away, home, may, june, july, etc.., post ASB, pre ASB
