Sizemore and the Indians

I just realize that Grady leads the Indians in all 5 of the major hitting categories. As a lead-off man. Wow. That's a bit scary.
Dominate is a verb. Dominant is an adjective.

even in BA? that is scary. he is a beast, love having him on my keeper team (ops is a cat), though i wish he would cut down on the K's and raise that avg. maybe he should be moved to the 3 spot

They tried that for a few games last year - he profiles more as a three hitter, but he'd lose some SB if he's moved there.

Definitely not in BA if you consider players with smaller sample sizes like Ben Francisco, right?

I even doubt it otherwise without looking. Sizemore's only hitting like .260.

Of Cleveland Indians who qualify for the AL Batting Title; Sizemore leads the team with a .266 AVG

It's looking like Grady and Hanley will be the only 30-30 members this year.

You have to be "qualified" in order to be a team leader. On the Indians, only Sizemore, Garko, Blake and Peralta have enough PAs to be qualified and Sizemore leads all of them in Avg.

Edit- Damn, just beaten by a minute.

there's some nice pieces on the Indians team for deeper leagues... certainly some guys who can fill temporary holes anyway - Francisco, Shoppach, Choo.. Garko is stepping up right now... even Carroll (!)

don't look now but Cleveland is 1st in runs/rbi and 2nd in hits for June.......

Not really when you consider how awful the Indians lineup is right now.

There are other players with a very good chance to go 30/30.
