Should My Batting Average Get Better or Is .270 All I Get?

Postby TomBrooklyn » Tue Jun 17, 2008 10:47 am

To date I have a batting average of only .267 and I'm currently 6th in a 10 team roto league in that catagory. Are my guys underperforming and can I expect any improvement going forward, or does this team just not hit that good for average?

Note 1. I just got Berkman last week for Teixiera, which was probably not good for my average as Tex is just heating up as Berkman slows down.

Note 2. I just picked up Victorino this morning and Benched Nady (shoulder injury.)

Note 3. I haven't had all these guys all season. I've done a lot of adding/deleting from the waiver wire.

Note 4. I've had Reynolds and Beltre all season. They seem to be the biggest drag on average. They are hitting well in all other catagories though.
