Does anyone have any updates on Rickie Weeks??

Jun 9 2B Rickie Weeks, after an examination in Milwaukee by team physician William Raasch, was diagnosed with a sprained left knee and placed on the 15-day disabled list. He was injured in a take-out slide Friday in Colorado and sat out the last two games against the Rockies.

That's the latest from Yahoo!. But, what about Jemile! .

So does this mean he will be back when he is eligible after the 15 days, or is this something that will keep him out longer?

What do you think Weeks can do for the rest of the year. I am about to trade Y Escobar for him straight up...good move?

I don't like that deal. Look at Weeks' average and Ks compared to Yunel's. Weeks has 10 more Ks in nine less games, he is hitting 93 points less than Escobar, and he is hurt.

look at Week's Rs, HRs, and SBs they are all better than Escobars.

And as bad as his average is now, he should at least be able to get it up to ~.240 right??

weeks is a good stats producer. I picked him up about 4 weeks ago or so and he had beenhitting around a 280 clip for me with good stat production. But the question is when is he going to return? The information has been scarce about this situation. i did read they didn't think it was serious so hopefully soon.

I thought they were saying it could be a month before he comes back. There really hasn't been much info about him lately though.

I made the deal, hopefully Weeks comes back soon. I have Kendrick there now so I should be ok...

looks good on paper, but like the Tigers what's good on paper doesn't always mean it's true. Pudge is a dead spot for you, but it's C so who cares. IF is great, but personally Kendrick is worthless as a fanatsy players, he's a lite version of Polanco. OF is really deep, I'd say make a package that includes Rios and D. Young to get a stud SP. They still have some big names that could fetch a good SP. From the looks of it you need to acquire pitching fast, once Fuentes gets dealt, Harden goes down, Oswalt continues to get old, and Marcum comes back to Earth you'll have nothing left.
