11-0... anything I need to tinker with?

Postby tinfoilxtouch » Mon Jun 16, 2008 1:16 am

91-31-10 right now. Just looking for any input on moves I might want to make. Soriano going down really worries me, but thankfully Guillen turned it on this week to carry me through. Are there any holes you can see a chance for me to patch?

12 team H2H
6x6 (OPS, K/BB)

C- B Molina
1b- Atkins
2b- Utley
3b- Wright
SS- Tejada
OF- Crawford, Guillen, Francouer
Util- Lowell, Kent
BN- Ankiel

SP- Webb, Haren, Harden, Oswalt, Baker, BIllingsly, Maholm Sonnanstine, Cueto
RP- Rivera, Wagner, Jenks

DL- A Soriano, Izzy

If (when?) Harden goes down, I don't think your back of the rotation guys would do very well picking up the slack...maybe a sell high (unless you believe...)?

Aside from a weak U spot, your offense is very balanced. If I had to guess, I would say steals has been a tough category for you so far...maybe drop Kent and grab a speed guy?

Other than that, I like the fact that you're rolling without any "out of nowhere" guys. That bodes very well for your continuing dominance... ;-D

When Soriano returns, that will make both your OF/utility spots better and the rest of your offense looks good all around. Lowell should put up good power numbers with a good average to go along and Kent may or may not start hitting. I might look into getting one more utility player, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I would sell high on Harden because he is bound to get hurt. Your SP looks pretty solid, although I agree with Inukchuk that the back end of your SP is a little suspect. Overall, it looks as though your team should keep on performing. Thanks for your help with mine.

how many relievers do you use? 3 closers is a lot to carry in most leahues. you have big name guys, maybe you could deal one of them to improve you SP or OF. don't worry too much about soriano yet. wait for theweather to heat up in chicago and that wind blowing out on most days.

*edit* my DL list was wrong. It's actually Soriano and Izzy.

Thanks for the help guys. Going to try dropping Kent for some speed and maybe shop Harden.
