I'm interested to hear some thoughts on Cueto's prospects for the remainder of the year. Things can't get much worse than his last start (8 BB). I wonder if he's struggling with the mental side of the game because he has been known for his great command. Also, how long is his leash before he might be sent back down?

IMO he's one of the strongest buy lows you can get right now.

I actually picked him up off of waivers today in my 12 teamer with rather active managers. His K/IP is still above average and I don't think he's Daniel Cabrera incarnate (due to his superior command) so I have no problem picking him up even if he's only going to ride the bench for the next few starts. I thought similarly about Phil Hughes, but that hasn't worked out quite as well so far

Regardless of what you do, you can't drop him... and he's a solid buy-low and a MUST pickup guy if on your league's WW. His last outing doesn't worry me much, because he's never had command issues. I think he's just tried getting too cute with his pitches around the plate, trying to curb his HR rate. He'll sort it out, and he's still a threat to K 10 whenever he's out there.

Now, he's not Johan...
But remember Johan's first full year starting? Struggled for the first 2 months-ish and the only thing that was keeping anyone happy was his decent K-rate?
I think Cueto could have a similar turn around, given the caliber of his stuff.
