Most of the time closers go 3 days without taking a day off. With exceptions for injuries of course, IE B.J. Ryan.

depends on pitches thrown. Sherrill threw over 20 yesterday but only 7 on Friday so he'll be good to go if needed today.

most closers usualy wont go the 3 3 out of 4 days is the normal max use (not always just most of the time)

News: Sherrill has been working through a tired arm, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Spin: Sherrill reportedly kept it a secret from Manager Dave Trembley. He has performed admirably in the closer role, but Trembley is likely to caution Sherrill at hiding injuries
