This is the latest thing on Rotoworld from last night:
Jun. 14 - 7:59 pm et Braves placed RHP Rafael Soriano on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 6, with inflammation in his right elbow. He'll probably try again in a couple of weeks, but at some point, he'll probably need to undergo exploratory surgery if he continues to feel pain. The Braves will close by committee for now. Mike Gonzalez might be ready to seize the job before the end of the month. Blaine Boyer is probably the best bet of the Braves' current relievers.
Why the Braves wouldn't activate Mike Gonzo this week and instead wait until the end of the month is a mystery. Maybe they enjoy watching the team blow late game leads over and over again. Maybe they want to get out of the playoff race before they bring him up. Maybe the GM is in vaction until the end of the month and left no one in charge.

I bet we'll see Mike sooner than that. The Braves are getting pretty desparate...the commentators mentioned in one of the games the other day that they may not even have Mike Hampton pitch a minor league game and just start him

Depends. In a very deep league, yes. He's still talented, but Gonzalez has a good chance to beat him to the closer role. But in a deep league, where you'd be dropping him for Joey Devine, someone like that, I'd ride it out and see what happens.

Yeah, Im in a 14-team non keep league that 12 or 14 mgrs are active. I've been holding on to this Bum for awhile and when he finally looks healthy to return, he goes back on the DL...
This guy is killing me out there. So I picked up Boyer in his absence.
