not so sure but his line (259 AB; 49 / 13 / 40 / .305 / .939) is about as good as well see of a prospect called up this year, imo... I took a flier.

I agree, I think he's worth a pickup for now. His power numbers will adversely affected by playing in SD, but he should still put up some decent numbers.

He had homered in three strait games on the AAA club, he should start out in RF. That would give Brian Giles a day to rest his hurt shoulder. Then they will decide his permanent spot on the field.

Who's the better speculative pickup, Headley or Stewart? (Keeping in mind that Stewart has 2b+3b eligibility, while Headley will have 3b+of.)

I'd say Headley. Stewart is mainly a fill in for injured players right now. He will start next year.
